These  freshly made French fries were so crispy and light I had to share it here!  All I did was cut them lengthwise and drop them in hot oil! Frying in batches helps. I took out a batch after 2 minutes and put them in again batch wise once I got done with frying all the batches once. Double frying is the trick as the first frying cooks the potatoes through while the second frying crisps and colors the fries golden! So there you have, the easiest way to make no fuss fries!
